The Tesla browser shows "Waiting for iPhone broadcast"
Make sure you've tapped the broadcast button in the TslaScreen app. The button turns red when broadcasting is active. Also ensure both devices are on the same WiFi network.
I don't hear any audio on my Tesla
You need to tap the Tesla screen once after the stream starts to enable audio. Browsers require user interaction before playing audio. You'll see an audio button appear — tap it to enable sound.
The stream is laggy or stuttering
This is usually caused by WiFi signal strength. Try moving closer to your WiFi router, or if your Tesla is parked in a garage, the signal may be weak. A strong WiFi connection is essential for smooth streaming.
Can I use TslaScreen while driving?
TslaScreen is designed for use while parked. Tesla's browser has restrictions while the vehicle is in motion for safety reasons.
Does TslaScreen work with Tesla's mobile hotspot?
TslaScreen requires both devices to be on the same local network. Tesla's premium connectivity hotspot creates a separate network that your iPhone typically isn't connected to. For best results, use your home WiFi or a mobile hotspot from your phone that your Tesla connects to.
What apps can I mirror?
You can mirror any app on your iPhone including navigation (Waze, Google Maps), video (YouTube, Netflix), music apps, and more. The entire screen is mirrored exactly as it appears on your iPhone.
Is my data secure?
